About Galleri Duerr
Galleri Duerr believes art exhibitions are great ways to tell important stories of our time. Founded in 2006 by graphic designer and pedagogue Deborah Duerr, with a clear vision of contemporary art being more accessible. Galleri Duerr has been mobile since 2014, investing in cross-cultural meetings between different forms of art, artists and generations – national and international, emerging as well as established. Today we are a partner gallery on Artsy.net, a resource for art collecting and education, and participate annually in a selection of art fairs.
Together with producer Lotte Johansson, the gallery has exhibited in a variety of public spaces with interesting collaborations and is always on the look-out for new and innovative ways to reach out. Our exhibitions with Lydmar, focus on highlighting female role models in photography.
Deborah and Lotte first collaborated in 1999 with a Children’s Art Museum Project, holding exhibitions and workshops at The International World Congress of Child Psychiatry together with Astrid Lindgren’s Hospital, Stockholm Water Festival, SOS Children’s Villages and SJ’s Culture Train .
Galleri Duerr shows contemporary painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, film and design. During the years the gallery has developed into a living forum for performance and exhibitions in various formats.
